ADS-B

I operate a rather simple ADS-B receiver for the purpose of tracking planes. My location at the usual baseturn point for 23R at Manchester, aircraft fly by all day every day. You can view data received by me by clicking the ADSB.lol My Map link.

The receiver itself is a FlightAware Pro Stick SDR dongle using a R820T2, into a 1090MHz bandpass filter, then a cheap and simple regular dipole intended for reception of DAB radio.

I feed many websites with BEAST and MLAT data. The software stack first used is the OARC ADS-B scripts compiled by Mark 2M0IIG. The Wiki page has helpful information for getting started in tracking planes.
